As per government advice and aviation industry regulations, it is now mandatory to have confirmation of negative PCR test for Covid-19 before boarding. On arrival back to the UK, you are required to have mandatory test on Day 2 & 8.

Ali Healthcare Clinic, in collaboration with Fit2Fly Essex, provides Self-testing PCR test kits which you would be able to collect from the clinic or we can post it via urgent next day delivery to a UK address (Postal charges apply)*. For the full process, click on the tab below.

Collection and Drop off timings

Test kits can be collected free of charge from our clinic between 12pm to 4pm and can be dropped off between 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. We can also send it via post as urgent next day delivery (Postal charges apply)* .

Day 2 & 8 has been made mandatory for all arriving from abroad (from countries specified by the UK Government). You must take your Day 2 test on day 2 and repeat for Day 8

On day 2 of your arrival, take the swabs by following the instructions included in the sample kit. After taking the swabs, you will then are required to either drop it off to our clinic or via the Royal mail prepaid envelope using the national network of priority boxes.

The process

Choose the suitable Covid-19 Test kit. We offer Fit to Fly PCR travel test kit, Day 2 & 8 Test kit and Day 5 test to release. Order your PCR test kit by clicking here.

The test and the testing kits are provided by RT Diagnostics laboratory based in the UK.

Step 2- Receive and drop off

You can either get the test kit posted to you (Postage charges apply)* or get it collected from us free of charge. If you wish to collect your test kits from our collection point, you can do that between 12pm to 4pm Monday to Friday:

After receiving the kit, please take your swabs by following the instructions in the test kit.

Please note: Every test kit required to be registered using the link provided in the instructions sheet inside your test kit. This must be done at the same time you take your test as this will add the time & date stamp to your certificate.

Using the pre-paid postage label enclosed, return the kit at one of the Royal Mail priority drop-off points or drop the sample off at our collection site between 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
